This project, created around the theme of multiple dimensions, began with Gab's idea of scanning her own head and rendering it in 3D. This playful study of her own dimensions became a curious "vitrine" of dreamscapes.

Through showcasing deceptive structures and exploring matter in various states, the scenes presented push the limits of perceived weight and proportion. The work celebrates the dimension where anything is not only possible but real, which goes far beyond the dimensionality of Gab's head.

Named in homage to La cantatrice chauve, a play written by Eugène Ionesco, "Dans la vie il faut regarder par la fenêtre" is an audiovisual story inspired by the surrealism movement.

Through free explorations, with Blender and TouchDesigner softwares, various compositions were created, all with dreamlike tendencies. From these scenes emerged a both abstract and figurative amalgam, combining 2D and 3D visuals with simultaneously digital and photographic worlds.

The work was created from start to finish as a remote collaboration for the Minute_MAPP contest, a part of the fête du quartier numérique at the Van Horne Skatepark in Montreal. After having a great time creating EDEND, a one-minute presentation for the previous year's MAPP contest, the team came together again, even with the members being in different countries throughout the entire creative process.
